I have a 7 week old female chihuahua, and I was thinking about putting her into a couple of dog shows.
I have a female that is 7 weeks old I forgot the first time to say that she is AKC registered and works daily with a friend of mine who is a professional obedience school trainer.

Today she pooped herself because two little children were running at her and wanted to pet the ‘little puppy’.
She was even scared of my Grandma when she met her and hid under a pillow until she left! Does anybody else have a dog that is like that? I think the smaller breeds can be a little picky. Is this normal and if not, why is she scared of people? I am planning on taking her to obediance school so she can interact with other dogs but Im scared of what she’ll do.

We live in a house with a big backyard but without a fence. It backs up to an open corn field and there are lots of rabbits and some deer.

I would like to get a beagle but I’m afraid it will run away to chase rabbits.
If not a beagle, I would like a breed that has short hair, does not drool and is not too big.
Any suggestions?

My beagle is 4 years old and I have raised him from puppyhood. Unfortunately, I am a full time student and work a lot and must be away from home for many hours a day. My beagle is very attached and he cannot be left alone for more than a few hours without howling nonstop. I feel bad because I try to give him as much attention and love as I can, but I want to be able to have my own life too. Also, I have tried very hard to train him to be more calm, but nothing seems to work. I feel that it would be better for him and for me for him to find a new home where he could receive more attention that he needs. I am afraid to give him up because I don’t know who I can trust to take care of him. I am afraid to use craigslist and I don’t know what is the best way to go about finding him a new home. What should i do?

I just got this Yorkshire Terrier, But she is not doing well with potty training. I am trying to house train her with diaper pads and i might try a litter box which is what a lot of Yorkies use. Any tips would be appreciated.
