puppies
Jessica S asked:

My beagle just had puppies this morning. I put her & her puppies in a outdoor shed with a little portable heater.
But I wont be able to leave it on during the night. Will the difference make the puppies sick or anything?

I have 5 puppies and their mother has ran away and I’m worried that they might die if not taken care of properly.

I bought an 8 week old female Labrador Retriever, (Kai), 2 days ago. I was wondering, how long should I walk her for when she is 16 weeks old? Also, when she is older, how many times per day and for how long, should I walk her?

I know not to walk her until she is 16 weeks old but I am starting leash training in a day or two.

Would one walk per day for approx. 40 mins – 1 hour be enough when she is older?
So about 40 or more minutes, twice a day? Will it be OK for her to get maybe a 1.5 hour walk once per day or should I just stick with 40 minutes twice a day? She would be getting a walk around the park (10 minute walk away) each day and a walk around both fields which would take atleast 40+ mins.

How long should I walk her once she gets to the 16 week age?
Would 30-40 minutes ONCE per day be OK when she’s still young?

I want the personality of labrador retrievers but don’t want such a big dog. I’m looking for a dog weighing about 30 to 40 pounds. Any suggestions? Obedience is very important.

I am considering rescuing this dog from the pound that will be put down on Monday. They have had him for 3x longer than usual already(because he is so sweet….they say and so he seems) He looks like a pitbull to me,but they say he is American Bulldog. He was a stray so they can’t know for sure. I have little grandchildren that visit 2-3 times a year and I’m a little fearful of pitbulls. What can you guys tell me?

Hey, I’m in the process of putting together a website full of free articles regarding dog training. One of my stupid New Year resolutions.

I was going to concentrate on providing tips for people with problem dogs (mainly adults, because people love puppies). The feedback I have from friends is that I should target Puppy training issues ?

So what do I concentrate on – Puppies or Adult Dogs ?
Sorry, here’s what I’ve got so far, I think it’s coming on : http://www.advicedogtraining.com.
