rescue member asked: We are a
dachshund rescue. We need foster homes for the
dachshund we take in. Our rescue pays for the dachsie’s vetting and medication, you provide the home and the food.
You assess the dachsie’s personality and what it needs in a forever home. When the right home applies, you have the final say in whether your foster dachsie goes to them.
It is wonderfully rewarding to help an abandoned or turned in
dachshund get a new lease on life, you will be amazed at how much satisfaction and love you get from these little fosters.
Think about it, if you have room in your home and heart for a homeless
dachshund, temporarily, until a forever home can be found, please let me know.

MiMi ? asked: She is a 12 year old
beagle and she just always thinks something better is coming. Which it is not but she waits allllll day to eat her food. And sometimes the other dog eats her food if we don’t put it up. Which if we put it up then she can’t eat it. See the dilemma? Any suggestions?
We have tried putting oil in the food but to much is not good and water and she is smart and knows its just water.

cc asked: I just got a Yorkshire terrier and I have heard that yorkies are hard to toilet train any one know how I can train him?? I have another question He cries if my partner or I leave the room and he cries if I leave him on the ground beside me and do not pick him up. Anyone got any advice for me??

Clueless asked: How effective are these electric remote dog training collars. Also I’m finding that there is a very large price difference between the UK available products and the products available direct from Chine. Where would be the best place to purchase it from. I have an 8 month old very lovable but naughty Weimaraner. “Casper”. The kids and I have sought of given him to much of a good thing and now he is getting out of hand Eg when asked to get off the sofa, he likes to show his pearly white teeth.

principessa asked: I have a 5 year-old
golden retriever. He ,normally , likes water very much, but ,by now ,he had contact with water only in our garden. When I took him to a nearby lake this summer(for the 1st time) he didn’t want to go into water deeper than 1/2 m . What can I do about this? I don’t want him to be scared.
