school (I work in the school district). We have a 1 yr old golden retriever puppy who is used to us being around. Now that we are gone all day she gets lonely, when we came home yesterday she had chewed up our brand new couch! How do I get her to stop? I don’t really want to leave her in a crate all day but I don’t know what else to do if she is going to tear up our furniture.

My golden retriever is the most gorgeous dog but he has long, hair that gets tangled. I do brush him. My husband is away at war and I work Thurs, Fri, and Sat from 8-6 so he will have to be outside during the day. I always make sure he has plenty of water but i do worry about him getting hot. His fur would be like us wearing a big poofy jacket outside on a 85-90some degree day. I want to shave him but will his hair grow back for winter? Will his hair ever be so pretty again?

Here’s the deal the owner bought the pup from someone (born June of 2006) He weighs 6-8 pounds. Owner does not have time for him due to caring for her children and running a daycare all alone while her husband is deployed out. She has sent me pics but I cannot tell. She is only asking for $80. to find him an owner and get the attention he deserves.
Mind you 80 bucks seems a little to unreal but if he is purebred then it is more of a steal:)
