How do I make my pugs stop running away?

I have two pugs and they both run away whenever we open the door or let them off the leash. One day when one of my pugs ran away we just said “go home” and surpiseingly he did but he still runs and so does the other one but nothing stops him but running after him.

What breedline of a German Shepherd is right for me?

I am looking for a German Shepherd. I am hoping for an American Shepherd look. But I also want a Shepherd willing to work, but not way too energetic. I heard the from the American breeders that German bloodline is aggresive and unsound. I also heard from the German breeders that American bloodline is stupid and cowardly. I also heard that mixing bothe bloodline is good. Does anyone know much about this? Oh also any other information about German shepherds is welcomed. I am doing a research report on them. And does anyone know of good german shepherds breeders, preferably in Indiana.

How often is the dog park good for dogs?

My 6 month AB/Lab mix LOVES going to the dog park. We take her a couple times a week. But my husband wants to take her more often, I’m personally afraid she will pick up bad habits.

I have heard other dog owners say that their dog has become defensive or aggressive after incidents at a dog park. She has such a sweet and mild tempermant now and I worry she will change having too much interaction with some of these dogs. What do you think?
