I am getting a Shih Tzu puppy next week and I have seen pictures of older ones with very long hair. Do all Shih Tzu’s hair grow that long? Obviously you can have them groomed to whatever length, but I wondered what is typical. Thanks.

He gets very stressed and agitated among stranger and he acts like he’s gonna get a nervous breakdown when he sees other dogs. I am quite worried about my old dog, how can I introduce the new to him that would minimize the stress of change? Should I also expects my old dog to share his bed with new dog, there is enough space and should the new dog have her own water bowl and litter box? This is the first time for me to own a female dog, do female dogs have other needs? and when will she be ready for mating?

They are great with children also extremely friendly, not gaurd dogs AT ALL.I would like if they could be placed togethter.They are house broken and semi trained.They are both very smart, they will not eat food unless you give it to them.I can leave my dinner on the coffe table and they will not touch it.My 3 year old niece can feed them and love them they are very gentle with her.
