A while back my tricolor beagle was bred to another tri. She had a litter of six – two regular tricolors, one broken-spotted tricolor, two lemons, and one that was all gray except some brown on his face. I was wondering if this is really rare, and also, what might cause this coloring. I’ve read a lot about beagle coloring, but the closest I’ve found is bluetick coloring. Any answers would be appreciated.

I only feed my dog once a Day(about 5PM) & she gobbles it up like she is starving. She doesn’t get much exercise in the winter so she is overweight. She does have water all the time. The vet told me to feed her once a day, but I feel like I am starving her! What do you think?

When I first got my shih tzu, she was really skinny and I guess we gave her alittle too much food because now she is alittle fatter. Is it bad to change her food to diet food? And how can we make her lose some weight? Also, how much should we feed her now? This is totally random but how many times should we bathe her?

We’ve tried EVERY brand of dried food out there. They hate it. The only way they will eat it is if we put something in it (ex: sprinkle of cheese – chicken, etc.). Should we switch to wet food? I heard dry food is better for them.

I am worried about my miniature schnauzer. She woke me up the other night vomiting and then she passed gas and the whole room smelled horrible. I took her outside and she had diarrhea. Yesterday, she vomited a small amount and then had diarrhea again. I tried not to give her hardly any food, and she seemed to be a little better, but her stools were still watery. Today she seemed to lay around more than usual, and when I would take her out she still had diarrhea. This evening she seemed a little better and ate some dog food after hardly eating all day. But, about an hour ago, she started passing horrible gas and I took her outside and she vomited and had diarrhea again. She had something similar to this a few months ago, but it only lasted overnight. What could be causing the problem?
