When I first got my shih tzu, she was really skinny and I guess we gave her alittle too much food because now she is alittle fatter. Is it bad to change her food to diet food? my miniature schnauzers temp droped monday to 97.9 then tuesday she lost her mucus plug and was panting and kicking her back leg and looking at her butt, but she it too big to get to her butt. then late afternoon to evening she quit panting but still seems restless, and today(wednesday) she still is restless and her temp is 99.4 and she still isn’t panting or digging. should i be worried, today is her due date 63rd day. thanks for your response in advance

I am worried about my miniature schnauzer. She woke me up the other night vomiting and then she passed gas and the whole room smelled horrible. I took her outside and she had diarrhea. Yesterday, she vomited a small amount and then had diarrhea again. I tried not to give her hardly any food, and she seemed to be a little better, but her stools were still watery. Today she seemed to lay around more than usual, and when I would take her out she still had diarrhea. This evening she seemed a little better and ate some dog food after hardly eating all day. But, about an hour ago, she started passing horrible gas and I took her outside and she vomited and had diarrhea again. She had something similar to this a few months ago, but it only lasted overnight. What could be causing the problem?
