I was wondering if any one else has ever dealt with them. They are brand new but really really nice and accomadating to the adoptor which is rare. The last rescue I dealt with to get my Golden Retriever was horrible.

What I want to know is if any normal street or wilderness dog can learn obedience to an acceptable degree, it doesn’t have to be champion on those “best Dog Shows”. Also, even if there may not guaranteed, have this happend before?; It maybe puppies better, or perhaps the majority of properly trained dogs are more “houseborn, house raised”, but that is not what’s important in my question- what’s important is the answer about the likelyhood that it may happend ( Can it happend, could it be that a street dog become acceptably trained, even if the number of these dogs is less than the number of dogs that are well trained that are already house pets; In other words, can it happend with proper training or is it almost always nearly impossible to train an adult untrained dog to behave acceptably well, and it requires a miracle?); Also, ignore which method should be used, as long if there is a method and not simply a matter of absolute luck without the possibility of Human influences. Thanks

chulo’s mommy asked:

I have 14 week old medium male pomeranian whom I’ve been attempting to crate train. His seperation anxiety is not getting any better. I’ve been crate training him at night for about 2 weeks now and have not seen any improvement. He barks, cries, whines, shake/bite(his crate), and goes potty(1 and 2) every night. Last week I had a family emergency and had to leave him during the day. I felt bad leaving him lock in his cage for such a long period of time so I left him in the bathroom w/ cage door open, pad, bed, toys, and watter. When I returned he shredded the pad into little pieces and smeared his poop and urine all over the floor. I dont know what to do! I’ve tried leaving the radio on low for him, lights off/on, and nothing seems to work. During the day he does very well. Only potty’s outside or on the pads. Doesn’t cry or bark. Any advice on what I can do?

I have a 2 yr old very hyper female rottie that has some bad behavior with fixating on chasing cars up the driveway on the other side of the fence, and now going crazy at my sisters horses on the other side of the fence. She won’t respond to anyone when either distraction is there and you can’t get near her she takes off and then returns to the crazy barking. I would like to try a vibration/shock collar that is remote controlled to break her fixation and get her to listen since nothing else has worked. Has anyone else used this in training a hard to train dog? Are they safe when used responsibly? I do not want to hurt her but her behavior is going to get her injured if she gets out and get’s in that horse pen the horses will kick her. And she is only getting worse in her fixation on vehicles and larger animals not better as she gets used to them being there. Any suggestions would be great. She also has a acre of yard so she has lots of room to run just is so hyperactive though.

Hi guys. Here is the whole problem:

In Labrador retrievers coat color is determined by 2 genes that sort independently:
melanin production (B for black is dominant to b for brown)
melanin deposition (E for deposition is dominant to e for no deposition)
Yellow Labrador retrievers may be homozygous dominant, homozygous recessive, or
heterozygous for pigment production but are homozygous recessive for melanin deposition.
Chocolate Labrador retrievers are homozygous recessive for melanin production but may be
homozygous dominant or heterozygous for melanin deposition.
Black Labrador retrievers may be homozygous dominant or heterozygous for melanin
production and for melanin deposition.
a. Write all possible genotypes for yellow, chocolate, and black Labrador retrievers:
Yellow__________
Chocolate__________
Black____________
b. Male and female chocolate Labrador retrievers were mated and had a litter of 12
puppies. Eight of the puppies were yellow. What were the genotypes of the parents?
Parent genotypes______________
c. How many of the other puppies were chocolate and how many were black? (Please
show your work!)
Chocolate________________
Black________________

I really need help with this problem, because I don’t really know any of this stuff, and only vaguely understand this problem. Thank you guys for helping me with this problem :)
