I’m surprising my son with a puppy for Christmas and I decided on a Yorkshire Terrier. I’m doing some research and i’m hearing all these things about the breed. What do I need to look for when looking at these breeders. They all say AKC certified etc but I don’t know what any of it means and what I need to make sure my puppy has before it comes home with me.

Also, I know Yorkshire Terriers are a pure breed but do they all cost thousands of dollars? This website www.puppyfind.com has them for like $450 to $800. Is something wrong with them if they’re that cheap? Thanks for any advice and help.
