More important question. Tiny dogs are easily hurt by small kids. You need to think about how your kids are in the house and how much time you really have to devote to the puppies socialization with your kids. Chihuahuas get bity because they feel threatened and also because people often treat them like babies not dogs. Then they think they are the centre of the universe and act like it. Why do you want a Chihuahua might be a better question too. There might be a larger breed with similar attributes you want in a dog. Ask how your kids are with dogs. More important question.
