Most of the time if you go through one of your local rescues, the purchase price of the dog will not be that much. Depending on the breeder, prices for puppies can run anywhere from $300.00 for a limited registration to $1,200.00 for a puppy with a championship blood line. I would not get a puppy from a pet store as most of the time they deal with puppy mills, and there might be some breeding defects and health issues. All of the breeds of dogs that have the 'smushed' noses will snort and snore. Such as Boston Terriers, Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, and such. Also go to to read up on the Pug. People breed mixed breeds speficaly, go online and research it some. Most breeders have pictures of what the dogs look like as adults and puppys too. Or you could go to the animal shelter and adopt a dog. Then its way way cheaper and you get to skip house breaking and the puppy eating your shoes and what not. I would say no.
