I just adopted an 8-week old rottweiler mix puppy! She was a rescue dog so they were not sure her exact breed but think she is part rott, lab, and german shepard. They did not give me any info on what they have been feeding her. How much/often should I be feeding her? Also, any suggestions on food brands are appreciated. Thanks!

I was planning on getting a rottweiler. I was looking up information about them, and on about 2 or 3 websites and it said they are great outdoor pets and have a lot of energy. I live in Texas so do you think it would be better if I kept it in a closed area inside or left him outside in a shady area so he could run and play whenever he choses?

My sister is getting married and her Golden Retreiver will not be allowed at her new home. So now I have to keep both dogs at my house. I have managed to leave both dogs at the back yard, but when anybody else steps out, the dogs start to fight. I would like to someday be able to step into my own back yard without worrying about my rottweiler killing my sister’s dog or my own dog dying of a heart attack.

I already have a 4 yr old male Rottweiler mixed with a German Shepard but i would like a dog that would be good with him. I do not want another Rottweiler again though.

Me and my husband just got a rottweiler. He is 6 weeks old…I was a little skeptical about getting a rottweiler because I was always taught that rotweilers are vicious dogs. Other than being really playful, mine is not that bad, and he likes to bite…but he is just a baby. Well my mom is coming to visit me in a few days, and she would absolutely go crazy if I told her that my puppy is a rotweiler, so I was wondering what other dogs kind of look like or resemble rottweilers when they are puppies, that way my mom can still come and visit and be comfortable.

I’ve been taking my rottweiler puppy on a couple walks a day. They are slow walks with my daughter in the stroller. He gets kind of hyper in the house and that’s when we go so he can wear off some energy. I’ve read somewhere and I’m not sure where that you have to be careful not to exercise them to much. I can’t find it again. Any ideas?
