whatever123 asked:
People often say there are behavioral and health problems with teacup yorkies but I want to hear from someone who actually owns or owned a teacup yorkie and how their experience was like. Thanks

I know there isn’t a REAL breed called teacups but who cares … it’s just a term to describe smaller yorkies, everyone makes a big deal about people calling it a “teacup”, it’s only a term people use.

sparkle2720 asked: I’m surprising my son with a puppy for Christmas and I decided on a
Yorkshire Terrier. I’m doing some research and i’m hearing all these things about the breed. What do I need to look for when looking at these breeders. They all say AKC certified etc but I don’t know what any of it means and what I need to make sure my puppy has before it comes home with me.
Also, I know Yorkshire Terriers are a pure breed but do they all cost thousands of dollars? This website www.puppyfind.com has them for like $450 to $800. Is something wrong with them if they’re that cheap? Thanks for any advice and help.

Derek L asked: Recently, we found a
Yorkshire Terrier in the nearby park, and we brought it to the pound. He does have a chip, and we’re waiting till Tuesday to hear if he’s been claimed. We currently have a small Terrier/Chihuhua, who has an excellent temperament. He never barks, or bites and gets along well with the other small dogs in the family (ie: cousins’ dogs). How well would the Yorkie get along with my current dog, in general? He’s only 10 months old. He’s very affectionate as well, just like my current dog.
Also, any way to tell if he’s gonna be a short or long haired Yorkie? He has short hair, but how long, generally does it take for a long haired Yorkie to get its full coat? Just want to guesstimate how long his hair will take to grow in if in fact he’s a long hair. Thanks for all the help!
