Make sure your dog likes getting wet so, if not then quickly do the washing part.

Dog Food Secrets!
Crystal Eyes works super well I have an American Eskimo and he tears alot too. If you don’t want to spring the money for it a wet paper towel works just fine. Not as effective and fine. The hard part is getting my 3 yr. old dog to sit down and hold still LOL! Hope I could help, there are probably other brands of Tear Stain Remover products too if your local pet store doesn’t have it.

Sit Stay Fetch, Good Dog!
Crystal Eyes, but it is expensive. Here is a good home remedy: Mix a bit of hydrogen peroxide with some water. Then using a soft washcloth, gently clean the area. This solution will get rid of the stains. DO NOT GET ANY OF THE SOLUTION INTO THE DOG’S EYES, PLEASE.
If there is a smell associated with the tears or a red discharge, it may be a yeast infection, so a vet check would be in order. I also give my dog a tsp. of cream cheese in her food and this also seems to keep the tears clear and odor free. The cream cheese somehow changes the ph of the tears. Try it! It may take a few weeks, but this has worked great for me, and I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
