Dog Food Secrets!

A dog that is rolling over cause it's scared is saying KEEP AWAY FROM ME PLEASE! when you pet it, it just scares the dog more. A dog that rolls over cause it is scared is not asking for a belly rub! Don't pet her when she rolls over, ignore her instead, turn around, walk away, squat down and offer her a treat, but do not approach her when she rolls over.

Dog Food Secrets!

She pees when you bend down. Try to imagine tiny dog getting all nervous when a big person practically gets on top of her to pet her. There are a few things you can do. You can ignore your pup until she's all calm and then pet her. Another thing you can do is sit on the floor and let your dog approach you and then pet her. you are almost at her level and you are not leaning on her. See the difference? You can also show your hand to your pup without petting. Let your dog smell it, chances are your dog will lick your fingers. Touch her nose or head slowly for a fraction of a second and do this often during a few days increasing slowly the amount of seconds you touch her nose, cheek, head or whatever you choose to touch. She'll get used to your hand in no-time. Good luck.
No need to punish. She can't help it.

Sit Stay Fetch, Good Dog!

don't make too much fuss when she does this and put her outside. If she is young, then she wil probably grow out f it. It is quite common in nervous dogs.

Dove Cresswells Dog Training

You need to build her confidence. Go for walks. If she likes to fetch play fetch, if she likes to tug play tug. The important thing is to make sure she wins the games, at least 90% of the time.

Taking your dog over obstacles (small if your beagle isn't particularly athletic) will also help build her confidence.

NEVER scold a dog for submissively urinating because it will only make the problem worse. And if touching her back makes her pee try patting her sides or not patting her at all.
