Sit Stay Fetch, Good Dog!

Beagles are humpers, unfortunately! I know what you mean about it being kinda funny, since our rescued beagle (male) likes to hump our yellow lab (also male). I guess he thinks he's much bigger than he actually is. Anyway, we made him stop by yelling "hey" loudly everytime he got close to the lab, or clapping. Sometimes, I would use a spray bottle and spray water at the beagle. Eventually, he just stopped trying to do that. When she is able to be fixed, that would be the best choice, though.

Sit Stay Fetch, Good Dog!

Its not really a horny thing, most femae dogs that do this, it because of a dominance thing.

If you view a pack life the female uually runs the show, since the dog is sooo much bigger she is just trying to inforce her Dominance.

I would advise a spray bottle, this is a good way to physically get the dogs attention with out hurting her.Get one oof the spray bottles that are used in the beauty salon, make sure it doesnt spray like mist, make sure its like a shot of water.

When she starts to hump automaticlly spray her..this will teach her that the effect of humping is a straight spray inthe face ( not he eyes!!)

This works with cats and dogs. Just make sure you keep the bottle with you,

good luck

Dog Food Secrets!

i would suggest fixing the dog and scolding it when she does it. our male blue healer(fixed) used to hump our male(un nutured) rottwieler and we scolded him so he stopped. we had to do it a few times though.
