I Like " Solid Gold" its a great food. But they don't make a puppy food in small bites. Try looking at the ingredients of what ever you buy. Make sure its some kind of meat, and not yellow corn. Your dog does not need yellow corn or Wheat gluten. Take a look at Royal Caine, I used the Puppy 32 Formal for my Schnauzer. Also check out
Wellness, Merrick. Any good food you buy say on the back of the bag, how much you feed pur-weight of the dog. I am currently using Solid Gold, Wee Peedy adult.

You should feed her a quality puppy food such as Science Diet or Iams etc, and it should probably be a small bites version of the food. There will be a chart on the side of the food bag that will tell you how much to feed her based on her age and weight, use this chart as a starting point and watch her weight to make adjustments to the amount.

It is not a nececity to crop her ears.....it is for looks only.

As far a being vulnerable to the outside world, if she is being properly vaccinated and wormed then she is fine to be outside and it is good to take her out and interract with other people, places and pets.

Puppies should begin their vaccinations at 6 weeks old and recieve a distemper/parvo shot every 3-4 weeks until they are 16 weeks old. It is generally recommended that they have at least 3 dist/parvo vaccines and probably should have 4, before they are 16 weeks.

They should also be wormed every 3-4 weeks during this time as well. They can be vaccinated for rabies at 12 weeks old.

Hope this helps.
