My daughter has a miniature schnauzer female who is now 9 months old. She has tried to housetrain this dog using every method she has read about, and still not successful. The dog will “go” outside when she takes her out, but if she has to “go” when she is in the house, she just does it. The dog has been spayed and vet checked for health, and is supposedly healthy.

Get some dogs pads and put one down and if the dog doesn’t use the pad then rub the dogs nose in it then take the dog over to the pad then rub the dogs nose in the pad then spank the dogs.

Do not listen to Courtne. You have to start a routine. As soon as you get up, take the dog out. Feed her, 20 minutes later, take the dog out, not as soon as she is done eating. Same as drinking, maybe a little sooner than 20. It just takes a lot of patience. If you see her start to go, try to get to her, and take her out before she does anything. That way she’ll start to know to go when you take her out side. I have a schnauzer, and it took a little while, just stay with it.
