Dog Food Secrets!

The main thing is that you are regarded as the dominant pack leader of these two dogs, and you are able to control them as they get older.
As long as you are regarded as pack leader, and they respect you, there should not be a problem.
be sure to enroll the new guy, as well, with obedience training, and one way to establish a relationship with these two is to walk them together, and do this daily for about 45 minutes to an hour. This will help them to bond, as well as them seeing you as the leader.
While walking be sure they walk either beside or behind you, as the front is for pack leaders, and if you aren't a pack leader, then you are a follower. So you want to be seen as a leader, and they will regard you as one.

good luck with the training and the new pup!! I am sure it will all work out, just be consistent with training and exercise....
and for more tips, visit Cesar Milan's website, or watch his show on the National Geographic Channel. He also has book to help you, as well.

Sit Stay Fetch, Good Dog!

Hi
Got my second husky when my other was the same age. Breeder advised not to make a great fuss of the new pup. Keep it crated for a shoert while so older pup can get a sniff. Give older pup his place and feed first. Let a little dominance go on as it's natural i.e stealing the new pups chews. Puppies as you know scream if they get hurt a tiny bit and that's the back off I am a pup sign. As long as your older one stops the rough-housing let a little go on.It worked with us..remember there is always a hierarchy with dogs it's natural and they are happy with it

I bought an american bulldog last saturday and she didn't get a long with my 5 month old lab very well at first! If yours gets along well with other dogs and people then go ahead! It will give her a playmate :)
