yes, standard poodles are in the non-sporting group. However, they used to be in the sporting and were used for hunting bird game.

I agree! I know that dog he is a very good example of the breed. He was in the Top 20 at the Dalmatian Club of Amereica. He and all of the other Top 20 Dalmatians represent the breed very well! I think! Oh and THANK you for spelling DalmatiAn the correct way!
