Shih tzu cuirious about the new kittens?

Betty asked:

My cat recently had 4 kittens , iam worried that my shih tzu might hurt them , The momma cat and him got along pretty well , so shes not possesive when he comes around to see them . Iam just worried that he might want to play with them and accidently pick them up .Lately hes been doing something really weired , hell rub his face on the blanket next to them , iam just worried he might hurt them ?

    Shi tzus are normally very docile animals. In the pet kindom it is all about scent. He’s probably just staking his claim. I don’t think the dog will hurt them because animals know when they are threatened and when they are not. Your dog is smart enough to know a baby kitten isn’t a puma
