My poor pug is going crazy. Not just from flea bites but because he has allergies & gets hives from them also. Besides the obvious Medicated shampoo’s and the Advantage or Frontline drops is there anything else? I need something that’ll work fast & I’m not near the store.

Have an 8 lb. “toy” miniature schnauzer. Not shedding, supposedly good for people with allergies, but my wife still has reaction to the dog. Are there any good vacuums or air purifiers which would help with limiting dander?

I have a 1 1/2 year old miniature schnauzer who has a habit of chewing on her paws when she’s left alone in her kennel. I’ve been to my vet and we’ve determined that it’s NOT allergies. She’s doing it out of sheer boredom. I want to take her out of the kennel but she is a destructive chewer and it’s for her own safety that she’s in there. That all said, does anyone know of a way to take the brownish red color off her paws? I was wondering if there is something I can do to take that color out of her fur? (That won’t hurt her of course)

The eyes themselves aren’t red, it’s the area around them. He constantly is rubbing his eyes against the ground. Is it allergies? If so is there something I can do for him?

Miniature Schnauzer
Dimitrius L asked:

When we went dog breed searching we found the perfect dog for me,a Miniature Schnauzer! We picked this breed beacasue of its size and it’s reliability with people who have allergies. We just wanted to know a little more info. How do they act when they are around children and strangers? I heard that they can be yappy(is that true?). I dont want to get a Schnauzer and it dosent interact with kids because we have a lot of them around our area. Also how do they act toward other dogs beacause I dont want to take him on a walk and he spots another dog and he starts yapping. Please Help!

dog training
ahren asked:

Over the last 6 months we have been crate training our dog. The crate is the perfect size for him. Just over the last month, he has started barking almost the entire night. He has also recently started to pee a little in the back of the crate. He did fine for so long, but now it seems like a total regression. It is so hard to be happy with a dog that barks all night and pees himself. Please, does anybody have a solution?
The dog is in the other room of the house. The reason being is that allergies have arisen from other members of the household. We do take his water away 2 hours before bed and do puit him out before we go to bed. I let him out at night to pee when he first barks….but as soon as he’s back in, he starts barking again. He’s not in the crate all day, only at night. I really think it’ more of an attention thing.

Bulldog
tango_oscar asked:

Our American Bulldog is allergic to almost every type of grass and pollen. We are having her treated by a dermatologist but now summer is on the way, her scratching has started again. She scratches so much she makes herself bleed. She drags her belly and chest along the grass or carpets and makes herself very sore. We have tried a number of things but nothing seems to work. Has anyone experience of this and any tried and tested remedies. Please try and help us…..
