Will a new male american bulldog puppy cause any problems with my female who is eleven months old or should they get along o.k? She is very hyper but not mean at all. She just gets very excited around other people and dogs. She is in obedience training right now.

I have a 4 month old american bulldog puppy. She weighs 15 pounds, I am feeding her “science diet puppy small bites” 1 cup three times daily. Is she eating enough? She wants more food after shes done and she eats very quickly. I’m thinking of trying free feeding but I’m not sure

I have a ten month old American Bulldog named Flash. He is 95 pounds. When I got him the breeder said he would be between 85 and 95 pounds. Is he going to get any bigger? He is currently 24.5 inches at the withers. I don’t think he’s overweight. I can’t see his ribs, but I can feel them when I pet him. He takes up so much space already. He takes up 2/3 of the couch and the entire backseat of my car!

My mother might get an American bulldog. I am concerned because I have heard they are like pitbulls and I have four small children that visit her home. Is there cause for worry?

Help! I have studied both breeds and love each. I simply cannot make up my mind. I already own a Japanese Akita and now want another breed of dog so He can have a companion. The next dog will be a girl and she will be spayed. I need you to help me make up my mind. So which is it a Rottweiler or an American Bulldog. ( why ) thanks for helping me with this dilema.

I just got a female AKC American Bulldog. She is so awesome but for her two years of life she has been either kenneled inside or on a six foot leash. Her previous owner said she was too “hyper.” She is very thin and I want to fatten her up the healthy way.

I felt so bad for her I had to take her even though I cant afford to take her to the vet for a couple of weeks. FYI this dog is not hyper, she is sweet and very obedient. They didnt realize the gem they had.

Also, she will be spayed, but I think she is already pregnant. Her vulva is swelled and her nipples are very large and they claim she has never been bred. Any suggestions on that also?

I used to own an American Bulldog who sadly met a most unfortunate accident and was put to sleep. Needless to say it took sometime to get over the loss of a great dog. Now it’s roughly a year later and I think I’m ready to get a new pet. Finding an American Bulldog without going throuhg a breeder is next to impossible. But to hear my dear mother tell it, it can be done. So I need some other options, what other type of dog can I get; large breed preferably, that won’t cause me to shell out a large portion of my pockets.

My 2 year old american bulldog has all of a sudden started acting soooooooo strange!! The dog next door recently went into heat, and my dog has just turned into a different dog! All he wanted to do was stay outside, and howl at the fence, stopped eating, and stopped even wanting to have much to do with us. He has also started to mark his territory in the house which is something he has never done. He has also started to act very irritated with my child, who has been his best friend his whole life. I havent had him neutered yet because I thought he was just such a great dog, and I was afraid it would some how change him………….but now, he needs to change his behavior for himself and all of us too!!! So I guess my question is, will neutering him help him with all of these new behaviors, and will he become our sweet big baby again????

Thanks!!!
