Would it be OK to feed my beagle an adult dry food instead for a puppy one? According to his breeder, feed a puupy dog food will cause a skin problem.

My Beagle Oscar is only a little over a year old and he is already fat. He runs around with our other dog all day long and he is on lite dog food and lite treats. Nothing is working. I want to get him fixed, but I am afraid he will gain more weight. What should I do.

She is 18 months old. I feed her 2x a day, 1 cup of Authority dog food. Lately, I have been getting hyper- concerned about articles I keep reading about bloat and addison’s disease. I have read about the barf diet, and that it is best to soak dy food in warm water for ten minutes before feeding to prevent the food from expanding in her stomach. I have also read that it is good to give a SP plain yogurt to aid in disgestion. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best kind of diet and feeding for a standard poodle?

I called the vet b/c my dog keeps biting at her paws and itching like crazy. She also smells when she itches. The vet says it is most likely food allergies. Does anybody know of a dog food I can pick up at any pet store with the vitamins she needs to put an end to the allergy?

I am getting an English Bulldog puppy soon and would like it to have a healthy diet. They are prone to be overweight as I know. I use to have a female bullie that I fed Iams too but she became overweight even when I fed her the low calorie Iams. Can you please help? Thanks!

I am worried about my miniature schnauzer. She woke me up the other night vomiting and then she passed gas and the whole room smelled horrible. I took her outside and she had diarrhea. Yesterday, she vomited a small amount and then had diarrhea again. I tried not to give her hardly any food, and she seemed to be a little better, but her stools were still watery. Today she seemed to lay around more than usual, and when I would take her out she still had diarrhea. This evening she seemed a little better and ate some dog food after hardly eating all day. But, about an hour ago, she started passing horrible gas and I took her outside and she vomited and had diarrhea again. She had something similar to this a few months ago, but it only lasted overnight. What could be causing the problem?

I have a boxer that is 5 years old he is a pretty healthy dog no signs of any type of illness but usually after he eats, like 10 minutes later he will go into the corner and throw up.I feed him dry/wet dog food, and when he is good ill give him people food. Am I doing something wrong in the way I feed him or is he just sick..? What could I do?
