bizzurke asked: im almost 21 weeks pregnant and i think my dog has them…..he’s been itching a lot more the last few days and i just talked to my mom about it and she says she hasnt given him his tick and flea medication for a few months because she is an irresponsible non thinking retard.
could this have a bad effect of my baby in any way?? we’re going to get the meds today….but what about the house and stuff?
i mean while im pregnant…obviously we are going to rid him of it if he has anything….but right now the damage is already done if he has them…so could it be bad?

Also, any flea/tick meds?? which are best and most effective???

Please don’t tell me frontline or advantage, they are so expensive it’s crazy I would have to pay $145 for one years worth. That’s crazy to have to pay that much money. ScienceNerd07 asked: We tried Revolution, only to find fleas and ticks on our dogs (who are between 13 and 20#). Then we switched to K9 Advantix and not only is much more product used per application, but the spot is very gooey for a long time. Plus, the dogs itch at the application spot so obviously it won’t work in the long run. What have you used successfully?
Should we give Revolution a 2nd try? Is there something additional I can give my dogs so that they won’t itch from using Advantix? What about Frontline or Advantage or others?
