Who is a reputable Labrador Retriever breeder in or near the San Francisco Bay Area in California?

I am going to get a Labrador Retriever. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. We want to be able to look at the whole litter of puppies and pick one out, opposed to buying one online and not knowing what you will be getting for sure.
We won’t be able to get it until around July 17th. We need something that will be ready really soon after if not on that date. This is because we have to do a lot of his training in the summer, before all of our crazy family activities start back up again. Thanks a lot in advance!
Sorry to those people suggesting rescuing one from a animal shelter. With our schedule, I think that that is a little too much for us to handle. : (
(I’m not a bad person though!)
We need one that is READY TO GO around July 17th. Not one that is born then!

How much food for a Labrador Retriever?

The family I am working for, bought a one year old Labrador Retriever. We noticed that he chews up things like garden hose sprinklers, flowers, mulch. Basically everything that is plastic or wood. I was wondering if it could be, because he is underfed. They give him about 2 cups of dry food once a day. I don’t think that is nearly enough. Can anyone give me some advice.

We already tried throwing a tennis ball and lots of other things to keep him active. But he rarely moves… He just looks at the ball & sits on the lawn… You can’t even really motivate him to move that’s another reason why I think he’s underfed… Mostly he’s just lying on the porch…
