I definitely have the love for the animal and a fair knowledge of behavior as I have grown up with dogs, retain everything I hear or read about them, am fascinated by them, have trained my own dogs under the guidance of other trainers. I can certainly train any dog to do basic, beginning obedience. What do you suggest for someone wanting to train others people/dogs for money?
BTW, I am in California. That may make a difference in your answers.

I have a 6 month old Boston Terrier/Schipperkee mix who I absolutely love to death but I think he gets lonely sometimes. I’d love to get him a friend, but I’m unsure what type of dog would be best with him. I’d like to go the bigger route like a boxer or something like that. Thoughts?

Well me and my family got a beagle puppy at a pet store and we named him rocker. We totally ADORE him. But, he is always pulling on the leash. I love to walk him but he is soooo strong and he pulls. We already tried a choker. When we did try the choker he broke it. Every time he starts pulling I stop. And I pull him back while saying the word heal. We have been trying those things for a long time. And he is not getting any better. Please help us? We want to walk our dog soooooo bad.

I have an 11 year old Toy poodle, she has never had puppies, but she is in heat now, and I would love to have something of her when she passes, she would be such a great Mom, because she has a teddy bear that she sleeps with, treats it like her baby, but is she to old to have puppies safely??
Thanks for any response!

I love the dog to death, but he only does it on me and it is getting very frustrating. He will be a year old in January and is supposedly a pure bred (paper problems with breeder).

I heard of belly bands, but also that they cause infections, I do not want him sick, so I have not tried that route.

We recently adopted a golden retriever that was severly abused. Goldens usually love the water, but he does not due to the way his abusive parents bathed him. So far he is very friendly when he is sitting down and is accepting to petting and touch. However, when he is standing, he will scurry from you if you get too close. We have only had him for a week so we expect him to be scared of us, but does anyone have any tips for bathing and also any on how to break that fear barrier that causes him to scurry from us? Thanks
