my 8 year old mini dachshund tries to bite guests what can I do?

she belonged to another and i adopted her. She’s had some back issues but is excellent now. I have 4 tiny dogs, and often I let her share my bed with my pekingese – the queen of the group. but when i guest is in the house my mini dachshund tries to bite – just goes nuts. would like her to be gentle like the other three little dogs. any suggestions – i just put a muzzle on her when i take her out.

Can Kibbles and Bits cause a dachshund gain weight?

When to decrease the amount of food for dachshund puppy?

Is that too much? How will I know if I should cut back on food? He definitely doesn’t self regulate. He would try to eat six cups a day if I put that much down for him. He has a HUGE appetite.

Mini dachshund people: What do you love most about the breed?

I have a male mini dachshund and absolutely adore him! I think many breeds are awesome and adorable but have to say I’m biased when it comes to dachsies. I was wondering what other dachsie owners love most about the breed. I love that they’re so unique looking, are very loving, sweet tempered (at least with people they like) have adorable long faces and are playful and so loyal. I also like that they are stubborn and have such strong personalities. Thanks!
