I recently got a toy poodle approx. 2 months ago. He is 3 years old. He was potty trained by his previous owner and he was doing really good when we first got him about not going pee inside the house. Now almost everytime I turn around he has peed in some part of the house. I am stern with him and I tell him no and show him that he is not supposed to go there. But I am not sure what the problem is. I take him out more than enough and sometimes he even pees inside right after we have come home from his walks. Any idean on what might be going on?

I have a Beagle mix and she has a problem with submissive urination. The only time she does it is when you would bend down to pet her on her back. As soon as you touch her she will squat and pee on the floor! Any suggestions?

I have the most stubborn Bulldog. Among other things, I am having so much trouble getting him to go outside to pee. When I open the door to let him out, call to him….he runs the other way. When I finally get to him, he plants himself firmly. I have to grab his collar and pull him along the hardwood floor. It’s funny and cute but also annoying. Any thoughts on how to address this? Thank you.

I have a 13-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who used to pee 3-4 times each session (x 3) throughout the day. Now he’s only peeing once each session and doesn’t want to hike his leg anymore no matter how times I bring him to a potential spot. It seems like his first squirt is a long one so maybe he doesn’t have to go anymore. Is this normal?

Whenever my Chihuahua/Beagle mix goes pee somewhere, my Rottweiler pretty much knocks her out of the way, almost before she’s done, just so she can pee over that spot, why does she do this?

I have a 7 week old Yorkie. I want my puppy (Chloe) to go either outside or inside on pee pads. Can a Yorkshire Terrier learn to do both? And at what age is a good age to train my puppy and what age will she comprehend.

Over the last 6 months we have been crate training our dog. The crate is the perfect size for him. Just over the last month, he has started barking almost the entire night. He has also recently started to pee a little in the back of the crate. He did fine for so long, but now it seems like a total regression. It is so hard to be happy with a dog that barks all night and pees himself. Please, does anybody have a solution?
The dog is in the other room of the house. The reason being is that allergies have arisen from other members of the household. We do take his water away 2 hours before bed and do puit him out before we go to bed. I let him out at night to pee when he first barks….but as soon as he’s back in, he starts barking again. He’s not in the crate all day, only at night. I really think it’ more of an attention thing.

Okay, so my Dachshund is approaching two years of age. Ever since he was born, he will pee when people touch him or pet him for the first time.

He will still pee even when he first sees me, every day. Is there something I can do to train him not to pee when he meets someone new or gets excited? It’s really getting annoying.

I crated him and he is fully housebroken, he knows to go outside, so I don’t think that is an issue.
