I have an 11 year old Toy poodle, she has never had puppies, but she is in heat now, and I would love to have something of her when she passes, she would be such a great Mom, because she has a teddy bear that she sleeps with, treats it like her baby, but is she to old to have puppies safely??

Is it true that pugs have difficulty giving birth?

I have a pug named Lucy, She is so beautiful and she has won awards.
I thought about breeding her for a long time, I researched on whelping and did my work.
But im scared, to breed her, I dont want anything to happen to her. But i would love to have puppies with her quality.
I wouldnt even sell the puppies either.
I bought a good quality black pug, and he is almost old enough to breed by the time she should be in heat.
Im having second thoughts should i go through with it?
