I have an 8 month old Shitz Tzu and I have tried every method possible to potty train her. I read books, asked the vet and I’ve even crate trained her, but it’s like she refuses to learn. She goes out 3-4 times a day, which is all I can do since my husband and I work. Even though she stays in her crate, she still goes in there. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I have another dog, and training him was never this hard. At this point, it’s either find something that works or I’m seriously going to have to get rid of her. She is driving me nuts!

Puppy chow says we should feed our 6 pound Beagle 1 cup a day. My girlfriend brought our puppy to the vet and said he said to feed him 1/2 cup a day. Divided into 3 meals, 1/2 cup is 1/6 of a cup per serving 3 times a day. This is extremely little. Does this sound right?

I have a black Pomeranian and the vet thinks he may have a stone in his urethra. Do you know around how much that surgery will cost so I don’t loose it and cry at the vet?

I’m fostering a pregnant miniature schnauzer. Her owners surrendered her when she got pregnant by their AmStaff. I’ll be fostering her and her pups until they all find homes.

My question- It’s such an unusual combination. What will the puppies look like? Will they act like a pit bull or a schnauzer? Is it a bad combination?
She’s already been to the vet and had her pelvis x-rayed. She’s all clear to have her puppies. Of course I have a vet on stand-by in case she has problems or needs a c-section. This isn’t the first or last time I’ll foster a pregnant dog.

We have a precious bulldog that weighs between 50 and 60 lbs. He has had his shots and they are due again in mid July. He has not been to the vet so we do not know if he has worms. Just in case we bought Rid Worm from Hartz Advancer Care. We need to know if we give him the Rid Worm not knowing if he truely has worms if it will affect or hurt him in any way.

I have a toy poodle (has papers and vet has assured me she is great for breeding) and my friend has a male Miniature poodle that is also great for breeding. Would it be ok to breed them together? Would the pups be toy miniatures? I am so confused!

I purchased him from Petland, and my vet told me that he is almost a perfect example of what an English Bulldog should look like, without any of the hip problems or breathing problems that can be common. I have had him for a year and I think he is great, and we have had several offers to breed him. I have heard that APRI is less than perfect, is it possible to prove his bloodlines and register him with AKC?

My 6 month old pug goes in to the vet tomorrow morning and told me to just drop her off for the whole day. Can I bring her bed for her, and her travel crate, or do they use their own? The vet isn’t open today, so I can’t ask them. I just want to make sure she is comfortable, and not to scared.
