She's old enough, but has she had her CERF / OFA? Is she a champion? Does she come from champion lines? If not, even if you find a breeder in the area, they probably won't even talk to you about stud services (I say "probably" because I'm sure you can always find a BYB with a Boy dog that would be happy to stud). WHY?? Why would you rush a decision like that without doing any research into the dog's history, background, pedigree, health?!? Your dog will have another heat, if you're bound and determined to add to the overpopulation problem. Wait until her next go-round when you have the chance to make an EDUCATED decision. Personally, I'd recommend you get your dog spayed, because you don't have the knowledge and the dedication necessary to breed responsibly. It's more than just throwing together two dogs who happen to have the "right bits". Are you looking for someone to breed your dog to?? WHY??
